Not enough stars to rate just how amazing Bryan Smith and his staff are. I have used this firm repeatedly for my ongoing child custody case and I’m always well taken care of. Bryan is honest and will tell you straight forward if he feels you have a case or not and will NOT string you along just to take your money like so many others. He won’t tell you what you want to hear but instead the truth. He is a beast in court and will defend you better than any other attorney I have seen. He is so very knowledgeable with the law and uses it wisely. His staff is like no other, they really are what makes the practice successful. His paralegal, Rebecca, is phenomenal at her job and always communicates with clients when Bryan is unavailable. I don’t generally leave reviews but feel compelled to say that there is no one with Bryan Smith’s level of expertise in so many areas of law in the Wilmington area. Prior to moving to the Wilmington area he worked in the District Attorney’s office in another county here in NC... I worked for the Sheriff’s Dept. in the same county. I believe this is one of many reasons he is so skilled at positioning his clients very successfully no matter their particular need. He handled my litigation with such professionaism, integrity and objectivity that I have recommended him to family and friends in need of representation and they have been equally impressed. This is the second home we’ve closed on using Melissa Gott. She is both professional and very personable. She makes sure every question is answered and that we are comfortable and confident making this financial decision.
Overall experience was great working with this firm for closing my property. Ms. Gott was always responsive via email and answering questions needed. Due to the good work and communication, I also used them to draw up a rental agreement for a property. The team is comprised of very customer service focused people. The only issue was paying them through a wire, only because I've never really used that in the past. However, they are very helpful in assisting you in that matter. As far as closing went, Ms. Gott was very friendly and understanding with my kiddos commotion and antics. I enjoyed their easy process.

Brian is the best family law attorney I have ever worked with. Christian is THE BOMB!!! Don't let his youthful appearance fool you! Christian is a wonderful and very knowledgeable attorney. Anna, legal assistant, is very helpful and makes sure everything is ready for your case. Christian represented me against a greedy, lying landlord and prevented me from having to pay her $10,000, she didn't deserve! His fees are very reasonable and the staff are very nice. I hope I never need them again but if I do, I'll definitely be back. Thank you guys so very much!!
